Operation

Model SRV Control Valves are 2-way globe-style (rising stem) process control valves for use in general industrial service. Typical applications include control of temperature, pressure, flow rate, level, or, concen-tration. Model SRV valves feature single seat, pressure-unbalanced trim in 316 stainless steel. Double stem guides at top and bottom of bonnet keep critical guiding surfaces out of the flowstream yet minimize stem and plug deflection. No-cage design means no chance of galling or fouling -- suitable for dirty service.

Actuation is accomplished by diaphragm-style actuator which receives 3-15 psig (std.) pneumatic control signal from I/P converter, positioner, or process controller. Actuators include fail-safe springs, either air-to-close/ fail-open or air-to-open/fail-closed configurations are available. Optional accessories include handwheels, positioners, I/P converters, solenoid valves, limit switches, etc.
