er Generation Control Systems for diesel engines / gas engines offer start / stop control, engine operating parameters of pressure, temperature, levels and alternator output, synchronizing, power protection systems and load share for either island or parallel running sets, including combinations of prime movers.
Power Generation (Steam Turbines)
Power Generation Systems for steam turbines require close monitoring of the machine speed and we offer a valve that can shut down the machine before overspeed can create damage. We also offer a dedicated control system, often with vibration monitoring, specific governor control and power protection relays. Such power generation systems are either individual to specific requirements or controlled by a cost effective power monitoring system.
Black Start / Emergency Set
The Black Start / Emergency Set System is usually a small generator set used to supply an isolated emergency bar. When grid or main power fails, the Black Start / Emergency Set System automatically starts, checks bar conditions, closes breakers and takes up predetermined loads to allow the reinstatement of main power sources. The emergency generator set controller offers a solution to clients’ specific control needs.
Power Management Systems
In addition to individual generators, many plants require a power management system which monitors the plant / emergency generation requirements, auto start/stops generators, load shares, spinning reserve control and controls import / export of power.
