Application

This spring actuated device is for shutting off fuel injection pumps or closing intake air butterfly valves to positively stop diesel engines when malfunctions occur. It can be used on any engine requiring up to 40 lbs. of force for shutdown.

Operation

When starting engine: Hold lever in "run" position and hold until lube oil pressure keeps it in place. If Option A start-up latch is provided, move lever to "run" position and engage latch. After starting engine, check to see that the start-up latch disengages before leaving engine unat-tended.

To Stop: Push "stop" button.
