HVX Pressure to Latch Open Air Shut Off Valve
The Chalwyn HVX pressure to latch open with manual open/stop lever valve is designed to be latched open with engine oil pressure. The valve is opened using the manual start/stop lever. Once the engine has been started and running, the valve is held open by the engine oil pressure. The valve will close when the oil pressure at the valve drops below 20 psi (1.4 bar).

- For use in automatic or manual shutdown systems
- “Fail safe” design – the valve closes on loss of oil pressure
- Uses manual lever to open valve before oil pressure is present
- Slim-fit 3” and 5” (76mm and 127mm) valve body
- Basic flange mount with hose adaptors available (½” to 6” | 38 to 152mm)
- Valve bodies and discs are PTFE coated hard anodized aluminum
- Shaft and mechanisms are stainless steel
