Model 2470 External Sensing 2-Way Valve (1" | DN25)

The AMOT Model 2470 external sensing 2-way valve provides precise thermal control in demanding engine and industrial applications. Designed with remote temperature sensing, it automatically modulates or shuts off flow in response to changing temperatures—ideal for engine and compressor cooling systems, lube oil control, and co-generation heat recovery.

The 2470 valve features a wax element encased in a bronze retaining cup, delivering exceptional valve travel per unit of temperature change. Available in cast iron or bronze body materials, it offers temperature settings from 21°C to 121°C (70°F–250°F). This tamper-proof, maintenance-free design ensures long-term reliability and stability in corrosive or high-temperature environments. Stainless steel wells and element extensions are also available for deeper insertion or improved fluid containment.
