REVGUARD 2 Speed Switch
The REVGUARD 2 Speed Switch continuously monitors engine RPM and triggers the air-intake shutoff valve when overspeed conditions occur. The latest version meets EMC standards (ICES/IEC 6100/FCC) and incorporates an internal algorithm that eliminates the need for external filters or resistors.
REVGUARD 2 can be integrated into broader shutdown systems that include AMOT’s diesel engine safety parts , allowing coordinated air-intake closure and other protective responses during overspeed events. It can also be deployed alongside additional AMOT engine speed switches in applications requiring redundant RPM trip sources or multi-stage overspeed detection.

REVGUARD 2 monitors engine RPM.
When engine RPMs exceed the REVGUARD 2’s set point, the REVGUARD 2 trips, sending an electrical signal to the Intake Air Shutoff Valve.
