SVX Hazardous Area Energized to Open Air Shut Off Valve

The Chalwyn SVX hazardous area, flameproof series of butterfly air intake shutoff valves are ATEX approved for Zone 1, Gas Group IIB, T4 (135°C) or Zone 21 hazardous area applications. The SVX flameproof energize-to-open valve is designed with “fail safe” actuation and is a critical part of our diesel engine safety products. When power is applied to the solenoid, the valve opens and remains open as long as power is supplied. If power is cut off due to an engine overspeed condition or unsafe operating environment, the valve automatically closes to protect the engine.
