The ThrottleStop Overspeed Protection System is a plug-and-play safety module designed to prevent diesel engine runaway in pickup trucks. It monitors engine RPMs and, when the programmed speed set point is exceeded, automatically triggers the truck’s factory-installed throttle valve to close, shutting down the engine before it becomes an ignition source in hazardous environments.

Unlike traditional air intake shutoff systems, ThrottleStop uses your existing throttle valve and requires no modifications to air intake piping, making it ideal for modern Ford, Dodge, and GM diesel trucks. The system also includes a manual override switch for testing, providing an added layer of control and safety.
