The factory installed air intake shut off valve is hydraulic oil pressure activated and requires the user to manually reset the valve with a wrench.  Some feedback from end users include:

• Valve is hard to reach - requires harness, man-lift and scaffolding to reset the valve safely
• Hydraulic activation requires engine to be running in order to test the safety system
• Valve position cannot be seen from ground level

Our Solution

AMOT developed a complete kit for 3512C ATAAC engine that includes an electric 24VDC actuated air intake shut off valve.  Key features and nenefits include:

• 24VDC Remote Actuation : Effortless operation (open and close) with the push of a button
• Position Switch : Integrated switch provides real-time status of valve position
• Function Testing at Idle : Allows for functional testing of the system with the engine off (avoiding unnecessary wear on engine components)
