The AMOT 7002 Swing Gate Air Shut Off Valve is a heavy-duty positive air intake shut-off valve engineered for high-horsepower diesel engines operating in the harshest conditions. Specifically designed for use on Cummins QSK50 Tier 2 and Tier 4 engines, this valve provides critical overspeed protection by positively sealing off intake air to halt a runaway diesel engine.

Hydraulic fracturing, offshore production, mining, and other demanding industries often operate in environments where hydrocarbons or external fuel sources can trigger uncontrolled engine overspeed. Once this occurs, simply turning off the ignition is not enough. The 7002 valve rapidly shuts down the engine by cutting off the intake air supply, helping to prevent mechanical failure or catastrophic explosion
